Online Seminars
Since April last year, due to travel restrictions because of the Corona virus, I have been offering online-seminars about Rome and its surroundings, for adults as well as for students and children, using the platform zoom. The seminars have a duration of about 1 hour to 1h30 and treat various themes regarding the history of art, the artists, the important families, museums, monuments and districts of Rome as well temporary exhibitions that are being illustrated with the help of slides. At the end of the seminar there is the possibility for the participants to ask questions and room for a discussion. The seminars can be a useful preparation of your visit to Rome, as they allow you to familiarize with the amazing amount of art and history that Rome has to offer. It can almost make you “dizzy”! Furthermore, in some places, like the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican, guides are not allowed to explain. The seminars can help you to get a good “picture” before you get there and to find out what to look for. The more you know, the more you will see, and the more you see, the more you will enjoy your stay! Of course, you can also choose to join an online-seminar, just to see some places again, that you already know, or to get some deeper knowledge of the various aspects of the “Eternal City”.
